“City Dreaming – Abstract Expressionism,” is about big cities. I have lived in some big cities, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo and Los Angeles. There is something about living in a city where there seems so much going on that after a while it seems like a lot of fuss over nothing really. It is emotional and yet distant. This work explores the feelings associated with living in a big city. It is an exploration of abstractionism.
“City Dreaming – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched onto a frame is 204 cm in width by 87 cm in height.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
