“Skies of Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” is an original, one-off work by the artist.

“Skies of Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” was inspired by the feeling of tranquillity – a very relaxing and warm feeling, like watching the sky on a cloudy day. A great feeling. In the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

“Skies of Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” is UNFRAMED and was painted on Hahnemühle Etching Paper 300gsm Warm White, with dimensions 78 × 106 × 0.3 cm (unframed)

“Skies of Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” was created in May 2017.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram – verification is attached to the image.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
