“Anomalous Event – Abstract Expressionism,” explores the idea of an anomalous event in the physical world, something unexplained and not understood. All that we see around us is not fully understood. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.
“Anomalous Event – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched onto a frame is 197 cm in height by 157 cm width. It is a big artwork and should be shipped framed.
This work was created in September 2017.
In “Anomalous Event – Abstract Expressionism,” I used the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram – verification is attached to the image.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
