“Secret Beauty – Abstract Expressionism” is based on the Japanese Zen idea of ‘Simply Living.’ When one lives simply, one can find the beauty that would otherwise be hidden or secret. Emotionally, I am drawn to this idea and so I explore the idea here. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
“Secret Beauty – Abstract Expressionism” is painted on professional-grade canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas has the dimensions 91.4 cm width x 182.9 cm height. The work has sections that are impasto (thick paint), while the sides are painted white and so there is no need for a frame.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
