Every day, different plants are cut down to make way for more concrete. My emotions dream of a time where all plants live together into a Phylogenetic tree, a diverse planet full of plants of all description, what a wonderful feeling that produces. Perhaps there are places in the universe like that. It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.
“Phylogenesis – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 200 cm in width by 98 cm in height. The work has been REMOVED FROM THE STRETCHER. It is more cost effective to have the work REMOUNTED than pay expensive shipping prices. Please note, that any framer will easily mount this work for much less than the added shipping.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram verification is attached to the image.

SHIPPING
Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
