Orbicular – Abstract Expressionism

“Orbicular – Abstract Expressionism,” is an original, one-off work by the artist.

“Orbicular – Abstract Expressionism,” explores the idea of our cellular body and how not a single cell would be perfectly circular but most cells appear cellular until one looks at it closely. It’s our human condition. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

“Orbicular – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 197 cm in height of 197 cm by 159 cm in width. It is a big artwork and should be shipped framed.

This work was created in October 2017.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram – verification is attached to the image.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
