This work is an exploration of the idea of how fleeting life is, and its real beauty is in its momentary nature. There is a tremendous beauty in life. Every part of nature and the feeling I wanted to capture is that momentary glimpse of that beauty. Flowers are a perfect example of that. Plants work hard to produce the flower which only lasts a little while. Therefore, in its splendour, the flower is the epitome of beauty and then it is gone. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 197 cm in height by 159 cm in width. It is a big artwork and should be shipped off the stretcher to avoid high shipping costs. Hence, this work has been REMOVED FROM CANVAS and will NEED REMOUNTING when purchased.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive but the canvases can be taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a crate, avoiding heavy shipping costs.
