The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping within Australia is free and comes ready to hang.
