The artwork, “Turbulent Times – Abstract Expressionism,” was inspired by pure emotion. In particular, the emotion associated with feeling turbulence in the world. Amidst it all, I feel calm, but these are indeed turbulent times. This artwork was painted in the style of abstract expressionism and is purely emotional work. Further, the artwork possesses the colours representative of conflict or turbulence.
This work is stretched canvas mounted onto a wooden, deep frame canvas, measuring 180cm in width by 91 cm in height and 5 cm deep, and is ready to hang.
The artwork, “Turbulent Times – Abstract Expressionism,” was created in January 2017, and is the second in the ‘Turbulent’ series, consisting of three works. This one is an emotional reflection of the idea.
In all my works I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and gallery grade canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of gloss varnish.
A Certificate of Authenticity with serialised hologram verification is attached to the image. The painting also has a duplicate serialised hologram on the back of the painting for verification purposes.
FRAMED AND INTERIOR IMAGES
In the photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, these are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs. For paintings that do not come with a frame, you can add a frame of your choosing. In that case, it will add to the overall dimensions.

SHIPPING
Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
