“Cosmic Web – Abstract Expressionism,” is inspired by the large scale structure of the universe, sometimes called the cosmic web. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
“Cosmic Web – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions is 285 cm in width by 160 cm in height. The painting will wrap around the sides as well so there is no need for a frame as the painting is 20 cms wider and higher than these dimensions to provide the colour wrap.
“Cosmic Web – Abstract Expressionism,” is too big to ship mounted on a stretcher; not only is it logistically challenging to ship the work, but it has a higher chance of getting damaged. So what I am offering here is for the person who buys the work, it is shipped rolled up in a tube together with the stretcher, and when it arrives, a framer will book a time with the buyer to come to your home or office and mount and hang the work for you. So essentially, it is like you are buying the work ready to hang, but the mounting and hanging stage occurs after the work is delivered. The framer’s fee is included in the cost of the artwork; there are no additional costs.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
