“Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” is an abstract exploration of the emotions associated with the colour blue. Other colours are introduced in a minimal sense, to punctuate the feeling that blue produces. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.
“Blue – Abstract Expressionism,” painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 165 cm in width by 108 cm in height. The painting is painted black on the sides.
The floating frame in the painting is for illustration and is not included with the painting, but you can purchase this floating oak frame or others as an optional extra, please contact me first. The sides of the painting are painted in the same style as the surface so no frame is really needed.

Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping within Australia is free and comes ready to hang.
